Meet Callum – TCS Head Coach
My full time job for the last 12 years has been in the British Army, This has allowed me to travel with military football and see so many different ideas and philosophy’s. I started coaching when I was 20 with a local grassroots club. I then was brought to Darlington Football Club by the Head of Youth Warren Newall where I spent many years learning my trade as a coach and developing young players within a high level grassroots club with many leaving me to go on to play academy football. Seeing this, Phil Mason from MFC asked me to run a development centre for children ages 6-8 in Darlington to give them the boost they needed before going in to the academy system. I was scouting and coaching for MFC for two years before joining Nathan and Mike in a private academy venture called Richmondshire Pro Player which now has over 25 coaches, 300 children and 20 teams competing across the North East and Yorkshire. Which now leads me here…. leaving the army and on a mission to have the same impact I have for numerous years in other areas in my own area.
